What is Gustopher?

Even as a child, I have been highly creative and drawn to animals; they gravitate to me as serendipity. For example, my Dad refers to me as Snow White because animals seem inclined to approach me.

 

What is a Gustopher? Well, it can be anything you want it to be. To me, it's a nickname Grandma used for my Dad. So to me, Gustopher represents family.

 

It was cold and damp. In the hazy light of dusk, she appeared to blend into the gray and brown background of trees and brush that made up the field behind my home. A dog so mistreated that even though I could see her ribs and spine, she dared not approach even though I offered her food. But, slowly, she began to trust me and literately became my shadow.

Shadow was by my side from elementary school to marriage.

I have endless stories of Shadow. Shadow taught me so much about unconditional love.

 

Home. We purposely surround ourselves with mementos of those we love and the things that fill our life with joy.

Our pets are one of those many things.

Of course, giving them a toy or treat is great fun, but the treat is for you this time. Whether you choose a pattern or opt for a total custom portrait, you will have a custom-made item featuring them, but handmade for you.
